Warriors of Christ

Purpose: For men to gather to read God’s word together. I want each person to incorporate reading the bible and praying to Jesus into their daily routine. Just like we eat, drink, and sleep daily… I want them to add God to that list. By building a consistent habit of reading God’s word and praying, I know that you will grow your relationship, and I believe you will be transformed by Jesus. 1 Corinthians 3: 6-7 says,” I planted the seed, apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So, neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God.” Some guys may not know Jesus yet, and I want to be the one to plant that seed. Others may already know Him but have become stagnant in their faith —I want to help water that seed and strengthen their walk. My role is to be a faithful servant, but in the end, only God brings the real growth and transformation. That’s why I live by the phrase “Work hard, God first.” Spiritual discipline comes first, but we’re also called to take care of our bodies. This is where we shift from spiritual training to physical training. I want to help men grow stronger, get in shape, and reach their fitness goals the right way--- through proper training, nutrition, and recovery. By building a consistent habit of exercising and making smart

nutrition choices, I know that you will grow and transform your body overtime. My goal is to teach men not just how to train their bodies, but also how to train their hearts and minds of the

things that reflect and imitate God. 1 Timothy 4: 7- 8 says, “TRAIN YOURSELF TO BE GODLY,” “Physical training is good, but training for Godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come. That’s what this is all about

--- building men who are strong in both body and spirit, living for Christ in every area of life.

Why?

Too many men fall into the wrong crowd, making choices that lead them away from God’s purpose for their lives. My goal is to provide a positive, faith-filled environment where they can grow spiritually and physically. By building their identity in Christ and developing a strong work ethic, they will learn what truly matters in life.

What?

Warriors of Christ (WOC) is a ministry-driven group fitness program designed to

challenge men both spiritually and physically.

Each session includes:

1. Bible Study & Prayer – A short devotion where we read Scripture, discuss

its meaning, and pray together.

2. Physical Training – A structured workout including warm-ups, and a combination of weight training, bodyweight exercises, cardio, and finish with a prayer walk.

3. Post-Workout Fellowship – A time to connect over healthy food or a

protein shake.

Who is it for?

Men of all ages are welcome, as well as all fitness levels. If you want to strengthen your faith and improve your physical discipline, this is for you.

What is a WOC?

A WOC (Warrior of Christ) is a man who pushes himself--- mind, body, and spirit. Spiritually, he’s all in for Jesus, growing his relationship with him, becoming more like him, and living out his faith every day. Physically, he trains hard by building strength, improving endurance, and fuels his body the right way. At the core, a WOC is a man of God who wakes up every day, determined and ready to honor God with his life and his body. He’s disciplined, stays strong, and perseveres through challenging obstacles, and finds a way to keep pressing forward because he has built a firm foundation on the rock —Jesus Christ (Luke 6:47-49). The main objective is to strive to become the best versions of ourselves in the eyes of Jesus and live by the saying work hard, God first!  Anyone can become a WOC, but this group is specifically for men to help them strengthen their relationship with God while building healthy habits. Life is tough, so it’s crucial to develop a strong mindset rooted in faith and trust in Jesus. Along with adopting a WOC mindset, we must also be hard workers. Colossians 3:23 says, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not human masters.” This means committing fully to whatever you do—whether its school, work, hobbies, or your role as a father, son, or friend – while giving all the Glory to God. Strive to be your

best in every aspect of life by having a WOC mindset and attitude. You must earn the WOC title! I have created a fun, challenging competition where each

participant must complete both spiritual and physical tasks to earn the different pieces of a knight’s armor (Ephesians 6:10-17). The goal is to build habits that incorporate spiritual discipline and healthy fitness routines into daily life. The main skills I want to instill through this challenge are consistency, dedication, and delayed gratification. Let’s make God proud!
